Introducing MatchUps!

MatchUps is a fast, visual maths game designed to build fluency, number recognition and multiplication confidence.

In this online demonstration, students choose two cards and try to find the matching value hidden on each tile. Tap one answer on each card and see if they match. It is simple to play, quick to reset and perfect for use on a SMART board, tablet or classroom screen.

The real card game takes the idea even further. Players lay matching sides of the tiles together, creating a domino-like chain of connected facts. Each new tile needs to match a value already in play, encouraging students to think carefully, compare answers and practise their multiplication facts in a fun, hands-on way.

MatchUps is designed for classrooms, small groups and intervention sessions, giving students repeated practice without feeling like another worksheet.
